Well, it's been pretty slow with regards to shop time in the last three or four weeks and as a result the blog and podcast have been sitting pretty idle. We've been pretty busy lately with family events, some unexpected veterinary trips, a vacation that got cut short and getting outside to enjoy some of the nice weather we've finally gotten over the last couple of weeks here in the Northeast.

However, I got back in the shop this past weekend and knocked out a saw handle and hopefully will finally be getting the next podcast episode done this week as well. It's going to be all about sawing mechanics  and might be helpful to anyone who has been struggling with accurate sawing or for folks heading to Woodworking in America for the Hand Tool Olympics. I'm not going myself but for those who are, be sure to check out the WIA Pregame Show over at The Renaissance Woodworker and get practicing. By the looks of it, there's going to be some stiff competition at this year's events.

Good luck to all those participating in the events!
